LEVA EU to Host EN 15194:2017 Information Meeting

European light electric vehicle trade association, LEVA EU will host a meeting at Eurobike in September aimed at clarifying many details about the new version of the European standard for EPACs, EN 15194:2017.

In April 2019, the new version EN 15194:2017, came into effect, leaving many businesses, active in the European market, with a lot of questions on this standard. Is it a legal requirement to comply with the standard? Should the EPACs be tested by an accredited testing house? What is the Declaration of Conformity? Which electric bicycles are in or out of the scope of EN 15194:2017? How does the standard relate to European harmonized legislation applicable to EPACs? LEVA-EU Manager Annick Roetynck will answer these and any other questions industry members may have on EN 15194:2017 at a meeting at this year's Eurobike show.

The information meeting is open to all interested parties but prior registration and payment are required. Tickets are available at: https://bit.ly/2XLG3mt. As the meeting takes place over lunchtime, a modest lunch will be offered to the participants and is included in the ticket.

Additionally, LEVA Chairman, Edward Benjamin will also make a presentation about the status of the USA Trade War/tariffs, the US market growth and outlook.
