On June 23, ahead of the 2025 Eurobike show, Bosch eBike Systems unveiled its new MY 26.0 product lineup at a global media event in Hofgut Mappen near Frankfurt. The launch marks a major upgrade across all key areas of its eBike platform—from powertrains and smart features to shifting and braking systems—catering to city riders, adventure cyclists, and everyday cargo users alike.
New Power: Performance Line PX
The highlight of the event was the introduction of the Performance Line PX, a premium drive unit designed for extended trekking and multi-day tours. Delivering up to 90 Nm of torque, 700 watts of peak power, and up to 400% pedal assistance, the PX weighs just 2.9 kg and offers a highly responsive ride.
Its intelligent sensor system adapts to terrain and riding style in real time, providing powerful support especially when starting on inclines or carrying heavy loads. Features like walk assist and hill-start support ensure confident handling even on steep trails.
More Power for City and Cargo Rides
Bosch also unveiled upgraded versions of the Cargo Line, Performance Line Speed, and Performance Line drive units, now lighter, quieter, and more powerful. The new Cargo Line delivers up to 100 Nm of torque and 750 watts of power, making it ideal for transporting children, groceries, or parcels with ease.
All drive units are part of Bosch’s Smart System and can be customized via the eBike Flow App, allowing riders to tailor performance settings to their preferences.
The updated range is complemented by the new PowerTube 540 battery, which offers extended range for both daily commutes and weekend adventures.
Smarter Shifting with eShift
Bosch continues to expand the capabilities of its eShift electronic shifting system, adding support for more drivetrain brands and models, with optimized automatic shifting algorithms for smoother gear changes.
Newly supported systems include:
* Shimano: XTR Di2, Deore XT Di2, Deore Di2
* TRP: A11, A10
* Classified: Bosch’s newest partner, enabling integration with its smart rear hub system
With eShift, gear changes are faster, more adaptive, and terrain-aware—ideal for everything from eUrban to eTrekking and eMTB bikes.
Upgraded ABS with Shimano Compatibility
The Bosch eBike ABS and ABS Pro systems have been further refined, now featuring enhanced sensors and software for more precise braking. For the first time, Bosch ABS is compatible with Shimano brake models, adding more options for riders and manufacturers.

* Shimano BR-MT420
* Shimano BR-MT200
In addition to continued support for Magura and TRP, this update ensures more consistent braking performance across all eBike categories—from city streets to mountain trails.
3D Maps & eBike Sharing
The eBike Flow App gains powerful new tools for modern riders. The 3D Maps feature provides immersive, topography-aware navigation to help users plan and follow routes with elevation data and terrain detail.
Another key addition is the eBike Sharing function, which now allows riders to share their eBike with up to five family members or friends. Each user can enjoy a personalized experience while the system manages access and settings securely.
All MY 26.0 components are OTA (Over-the-Air) updatable, keeping devices current with the latest software enhancements.
