Nevers, France – French cycle and pedal brand, Look have cooperated closely with German power meter brand, SRM to develop a power meter pedal, Exakt. Having recently been officially launched, the pedal is being made available to consumers via an e-shop (www.exakt.com) from July 1st.
The Exact power meter pedal measures and transmits accurate and consistent data for power, torque, cadence and balance (dual version only). Equipped with dual Bluetooth L.E. and ANT + compatibility, the EXAKT runs on lithium-ion batteries which provide up to 100 hours of battery life. The batteries can be recharged via a simple magnetic connector which powers up both pedals simultaneously.
The contact surface of the carbon pedal body is made with stainless steel material for optimum stability and power transfer, while all electronic components are placed inside the spindle. It is assembled with an oversized ball bearing and a needle bearing to ensure a better load distribution.
Special attention has been paid to waterproofing the pedal which features a double seals system on the inside, and end cap on the external. Allowing Exakt to meet the IPX7 standard.
