Giant Group Fully Implements Zero Recruitment Fees and Continues Advancing CAP

For companies, responsible recruitment is more than a slogan—it’s a tangible commitment to employee rights. Recently, Giant Group demonstrated this commitment once again in relation to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Withhold Release Order (WRO) case. From its Zero Recruitment Fee policy to the ongoing Corrective Action Plan (CAP), the company is steadily advancing every step of the way.

Zero Recruitment Fees: Full Refunds Completed

For many migrant workers, recruitment costs have historically been a heavy burden. After completing the first phase of refunds in October, Giant Group finalized the second phase on December 1, with all payments directly deposited into workers’ accounts. Notably, the refund process was fully audited by an independent third-party organization according to international standards, ensuring transparency and fairness in every transaction.

The company emphasizes that this is more than just a refund—it symbolizes the full implementation of a responsible Zero-Fee recruitment system, marking a milestone in corporate labor rights governance.

Steady Progress on the Corrective Action Plan (CAP)

Beyond refunds, Giant Group continues to advance its CAP, strengthening internal policies and recruitment management systems, while raising awareness of labor rights through both online and in-person training programs. The company hopes that, through collaboration with CBP, the WRO can be lifted promptly, setting a positive precedent in labor and human rights governance.

Dual-Track Grievance Mechanism

An effective grievance mechanism is at the core of protecting human rights. Giant Group has optimized its internal GTMCare system and actively promoted the government’s 1955 hotline, allowing migrant workers to express concerns safely and conveniently while receiving timely assistance. By working hand-in-hand with government authorities, the company ensures that rights protection extends beyond paper policies to real-life impact for every worker.

Ongoing Commitment to Migrant Worker Rights

Looking ahead, Giant Group will continue advancing its CAP, improving grievance channels, and maintaining transparency in cooperation with CBP or other regulatory bodies. Through concrete actions, the company aims not only to meet regulatory requirements but also to establish a more robust system for protecting migrant worker rights, making responsible recruitment an integral part of its corporate culture.

Giant Group’s progress reflects a strong sense of corporate responsibility and provides a positive model for multinational companies in labor and human rights governance—protecting employee rights while building a trustworthy corporate image.
