Yamaha Motor eBike Systems GmbH has announced a new management structure designed to support its continued growth in the European e-bike market.
Under the updated leadership framework, Yuki Doi continues in her role as Managing Director, working alongside Deputy Managing Directors Dr. Daniel Wolde-Giorgis and Naoya Igo. In addition, Jan Jochens, former CEO and founder of e-bike manufacturer Waldbike, will assume operational responsibility for the Sales & Marketing department effective February 1, 2026.
The Berlin-based company, formerly known as Brose Antriebstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, became part of the Yamaha Motor Group in August 2025. Since then, Yamaha Motor eBike Systems has continued to advance its strategy, strengthening its market presence and accelerating growth across Europe.
Yuki Doi brings more than 30 years of international experience at Yamaha Motor Company, including leadership roles in corporate planning, regional management, and global human resources. Following the organizational restructuring implemented at the beginning of 2026, she now leads the company together with Wolde-Giorgis and Igo.
Dr. Daniel Wolde-Giorgis is responsible for Research & Development as well as Operational Business Activities, while Naoya Igo oversees Sales & Marketing and company-wide initiatives such as post-merger integration. Igo has more than 20 years of professional experience at Yamaha, including over a decade in the e-bike systems business.
Further strengthening the leadership team, Jan Jochens contributes extensive industry expertise from his time at Waldbike, along with previous experience in finance, consulting, and sales.
“With this leadership team, we are well positioned to further strengthen our market presence and drive sustainable growth in the e-bike sector,” said Yuki Doi, Managing Director of Yamaha Motor eBike Systems GmbH.
