SRAM has announced several key leadership changes within its global sales organization, marking both the retirement of long-serving executives and the next stage of the company’s commercial development.
John Nedeau, who has spent 33 years with SRAM, including 20 years as Vice President of Sales, will retire at the end of June 2026. He will be succeeded by Paul Kantor, SRAM’s current Road Category Director, who will take over as Vice President of Sales and lead the company’s global OE and aftermarket sales teams.

Kantor brings a strong technical and product background to the role. He joined SRAM through the acquisition of Avid in 2004 and spent many years leading disc brake development, helping establish SRAM’s brake portfolio for both mountain and road applications. Since 2018, he has led SRAM’s dropbar portfolio, guiding one of the company’s most innovative and influential product categories through a period of significant growth.

SRAM CEO Ken Lousberg praised Nedeau’s long-term contribution, noting that his steady leadership helped build trusted relationships with OE and aftermarket partners worldwide. He also said Kantor’s combination of product expertise, commercial vision, and leadership experience makes him well positioned to strengthen SRAM’s global customer partnerships.
SRAM also announced a leadership transition in Europe. Dirk Gerbes, Director of OE Sales Europe, will retire in July 2026 after nearly 30 years with the company. Since joining SRAM in 1996 from Derby Cycle in Germany, Gerbes has played a major role in developing SRAM’s European OE business and building long-term customer relationships across the region.
Jacco de Kluijver will succeed Gerbes as Director of OE Sales Europe, starting June 8, 2026. He joins SRAM from Genie, a global manufacturer of aerial work platforms, and brings experience in international sales leadership, commercial strategy, and business development. A passionate road and gravel rider, de Kluijver will relocate from the Netherlands to Germany and work from SRAM’s Schweinfurt and Duesseldorf offices.

SRAM said the leadership changes reflect its ongoing growth and commitment to customer partnerships, product innovation, and targeted marketing that inspires riders worldwide. The company also expressed gratitude to Nedeau and Gerbes for their decades of service and leadership.
