Polini Motori has introduced the new E-P3+ EVO2, the latest evolution of its E-P3+ e-bike drive system, featuring upgraded thermal management, next-generation electronics, expanded digital connectivity, and a refined Italian-made mechanical platform. Designed for premium e-bike applications, the new series combines performance, reliability, and advanced customization capabilities for OEM manufacturers.
The E-P3+ EVO2 features newly redesigned side casings engineered to improve heat dissipation and maintain stable performance under demanding riding conditions. The motor also adopts a refreshed visual identity with an exclusive Graphite finish and Total Black Ergal screws, reinforcing its high-end positioning.
At the core of the system is a newly developed electronic control board offering increased computing power, faster response times, and greater management flexibility. The system supports BIOS updates via app and introduces tone wheel management technology to improve speed detection accuracy and deliver smoother power output, even in extreme riding environments. A new USB-C interface further modernizes diagnostics and system interaction.
Polini has also expanded its digital ecosystem through an updated Polini App. New EVO2 functions include electronic motor locking, route tracking with automatic synchronization to Strava, user registration, and customizable motor maps that allow riders to fine-tune motor characteristics according to terrain and riding style.
Integrated Bluetooth connectivity enables the use of new wireless handlebar controls for MTB and Road & Gravel models, helping manufacturers create cleaner cockpit designs and improve overall ergonomics.
Mechanically, the E-P3+ EVO2 remains 100% Made in Italy. Polini has standardized the pedal axle width at 137 mm across the range, reducing pedal width while increasing flexibility for dedicated spider and frame design without compromising efficiency or durability.
The E-P3+ EVO2 lineup includes four motor configurations:
• E-P3+ — 80 Nm torque, 600 W peak power
• ST — 80 Nm torque, 600 W peak power
• GP — 90 Nm torque, 650 W peak power
• MX — 105 Nm torque, 700 W peak power
For 2026, production of the E-P3+ EVO2 will be limited to 3,000 numbered units worldwide. The limited series will also include an extended three-year warranty, highlighting Polini’s focus on product quality and long-term reliability.
Technical support for all E-P3+ systems is provided through Polini’s direct service network across Europe, with additional expansion planned through selected international partners. Spare parts availability beyond the warranty period is also part of the company’s long-term support strategy.
