KENDA DAGGER Powers e-MTB Riding

As e-MTB riding continues to push tire performance to a higher level, KENDA has introduced the DAGGER K1298E, a new electric mountain bike tire designed for aggressive XC and off-road riding. The tire was recognized with the 2026 TAIPEI CYCLE d&i Awards, highlighting KENDA's continued innovation in the fast-growing e-bike tire segment.

Developed for electric mountain bikes, the DAGGER K1298E is engineered to handle demanding trail conditions, including hardpack, loose dirt, rocky terrain and wet surfaces. Its tread design combines low rolling resistance with reliable traction, helping riders maintain speed while improving control on technical sections.

The tire features more aggressive cornering knobs and fine tread details to enhance grip during turns, giving e-MTB riders greater confidence when riding at higher speeds or through changing terrain. With e-MTBs placing greater stress on tires due to higher weight and stronger motor torque, the DAGGER K1298E focuses on stability, durability and precise handling.

Beyond the DAGGER K1298E, KENDA continues to expand its e-bike tire portfolio. The E-VENTURE K1271E series is designed for sporty e-bikes, urban commuting and cargo bike applications, offering different versions for varied riding needs. The cargo version features a reinforced casing structure, with a maximum load capacity of up to 200 kg per tire.

From off-road e-MTB riding to daily commuting and cargo mobility, KENDA is strengthening its e-bike tire lineup with products that address safety, efficiency and durability. The award-winning DAGGER K1298E further demonstrates KENDA's commitment to delivering high-performance tire solutions for the next generation of electric bicycles.
