Bafang Presents Its Latest Generation of HMI Devices

At the recently concluded Eurobike 2023, in Frankfurt, Bafang presented its newest HMIs (human-machine interface) for e-bikes. The two models, the DPC010 and DPE165 boast attractive and user-friendly monitors with many useful functions.

The Clear CPC010

The new and innovative display of the DPC010 has a large, water-repellent display (4.0” TFT). Users can adjust the display parameters by choosing between 6 different display modes, and it even comes pre-programmed in German, English, French, Italian, Dutch, and Czech languages.

The DPC010 has a multi-mount functionality that holds the display firmly in position with handlebar diameters up to 3.5cm. Due to the high brightness and fully laminated design, it’s easily visible in any daylight conditions whilst being easy on the eyes. The display automatically switches between a day and night view via lux-control.

The DPC010 has clear optics in any condition due to its hydrophobic coating.

The Slim DP E165

In another show of Bafang’s HMI innovations, the DP E165 has been developed for seamless integration and positioning on the top tube of nearly any style of bike. Despite its appealing slimness and elegance, it’s a very robust HMI with a concealed cable guide which is easy to use and can allow quick access to riding data - it also supports OTA upgrades via Bluetooth.

The DP E165s innovative top tube display puts it in a “class of its own”, say Bafang.

Multiple opportunities and short lead times

These latest HMIs from Bafang give bike designers lots of options for upcoming e-bike concepts due to their timeless design and wide range of applications. Both devices have been in production since March 2023 and can be ordered as samples or as regular orders. Bafang advise that there could be up to a 60-day delivery time.
