Vee Tire Offering New Tires for Gravel Market

Vee Tire is the high-end e-bike and bicycle tire division of leading Thai Tire manufacturer, Vee Rubber. Based near Bangkok, Thailand, Vee Rubber was founded in 1977 and has grown steadily to its present size today, with more than 7 production facilities situated all over the world, now employing in excess of 6,000 people.

Vee Tire was created in 2012 to meet the fast-growing and demanding cycling market. They are continuously expanding with production facilities in Thailand, Vietnam and India. The company is celebrating their 10th year with launch of brand new logo at the show. The products are distributed to over 30 countries throughout North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Vee Tire is introducing its new range of tires to the OE market. Sized at 28' x 1.70, 700 x 45C and ETRTO 45-622, TAISTYK tires are designed for gravel bikes and have E50 E-bike-specific rating.

The tires are designed with a folding bead for extra flexibility and puncture resistance, and also feature newly-developed SYN core. This is Vee Rubber's latest core construction which uses their synthesis technology but integrated into the carcass. This enables the tires to have better puncture resistance for both sidewall and tread, while keeping things light with its high TPI casing. The SYN Core also improves air retention and tubeless compatibility, having more material in-between the inner and outer layers of the tire. TAISTYK tires come in two weights, 560 grams and 590 grams, and are also available in two colors, black and sienna.
