Taichung Bike Week 2026 showcased new solutions for 32-inch bicycles, e-bike integration, automatic shifting, micromobility and component design. The following are key product highlights from the show floor.
ALEXRIMS Introduces VANTAGE 32 Wheelset
The VANTAGE 32 is a 32-inch XC disc-brake wheelset featuring 6069 aluminium rims for improved lateral stiffness and stability. Both wheels use 32-hole, three-cross lacing, with a total weight of approximately 2,195 g and support for the TRS tubeless system.
Kenda Expands Tyre Range
Kenda presented MTB, K Series and wide-tyre products with tread patterns designed for different surfaces and performance requirements. Highlights included the three-inch K1298E DAGGER, developed for e-MTB and demanding XC applications.
HUBBLE VISION Integrates Lighting into Reflectors
HUBBLE VISION showcased angled reflectors designed to follow 30–35-degree mudguards or approximately 20-degree seat tubes without additional brackets. It also presented a compact 50 × 22 mm reflector and a concealed light integrated directly into the reflector, delivering 6–8 cd while maintaining a clean appearance when switched off.
DDK Presents 3D-Printed Saddles
DDK’s Comfort Line saddles use vacuum-forming production to reduce manual processes while supporting a wider selection of shapes and sizes. The company also presented new lightweight 3D-printed saddles that can be developed rapidly without conventional moulds.
Jiu Chuan Integrates E-Bike Motor Mounts into Frames
Jiu Chuan Industrial displayed the DT6-051 for the Bosch Performance Line CX motor and the DT-056 for the Pinion MGU.
Both modules use gravity casting to combine the down tube and motor mount into a single structure, reducing assembly complexity and improving motor-to-frame integration.
SunRace Develops 48V Automatic Shifting System
SunRace presented the J13 and I30 applications of its new 48V three-speed automatic e-bike drivetrain. The system integrates the motor, transmission and controller, automatically selecting gears according to speed and riding conditions.
Its shifting logic can be configured through an app. The J13 is designed for young riders and features simplified wiring and an on-bike charging system.
TEMAROO Introduces Tilting Twin-Front-Wheel System
TEMAROO showcased a patented tilting twin-front-wheel fork system for micromobility applications. Its four-link suspension, central shock and independent wheel movement allow both front wheels to lean with the frame while adapting to uneven surfaces.
The three-point contact design improves stability and braking at low speeds and through corners. The platform can be fitted to compatible bicycles by replacing the front fork and can also be integrated with electric-assist systems.
NECO Launches H345 Cable-Routing Headset
NECO introduced the H345 two-piece semi-integrated headset for mountain bikes and modern internally routed frames. Its 15–20-degree cable channels reduce tight bends and routing resistance.
The two-piece structure allows cables and hoses to be positioned before the top cover is installed, simplifying OEM assembly and aftermarket servicing. A dedicated sealing ring improves water protection.
JUIN Develops Upgrade Kit for JAVA NEO
JUIN presented a complete range of CNC-machined upgrade components for the JAVA NEO folding bike, targeting Southeast Asian and other Asian markets.
The range includes front and rear suspension units, hydraulic disc brakes, rotors, cranks, transport wheels, kickstands, folding clamps, quick releases and front carrier mounts.
Liang Feng Develops Integrated Aluminium Fork
Liang Feng introduced a customised aluminium fork for electric city bikes. Improved tooling integrates the dropout more smoothly into the fork legs, while a shortened 15–20 mm crown creates a clean appearance similar to a carbon fork.
The platform offers OEM customers flexible options in design, production volume and cost.
Chin Cheng Adds Cable Routing to E-Bike Mudguards
Chin Cheng presented extruded-aluminium mudguards designed to integrate e-bike wiring and accessories.
The entry-level single-layer version can accommodate conductive strips or electrical wires, while the premium double-layer model provides a fully enclosed cable channel. Its reinforced structure can also support rack components.
Feng Rong Expands Mid-Motor Frame Solutions
Feng Rong displayed gravity-cast and squeeze-cast frame components for mid-drive e-bikes. These integrated structures reduce welding, improve frame strength and provide a cleaner appearance.
The company develops open-mould solutions for new motor specifications from suppliers including DJI, Bafang and Gobao. It also offers one-stop support covering tooling, prototyping, pilot production and mass production.
Legion Improves Tubeless Valve Safety
Legion showcased high-flow tubeless valves designed to resist sealant blockage and provide up to four times the airflow of conventional valves.
Its safety valve relocates the valve core inside the rim, helping maintain tyre pressure even if the exposed valve stem is damaged. The company also displayed an award-winning hidden valve that sits inside the rim to reduce aerodynamic drag.
Li Ching Introduces Internally Routed MTB Stem
Li Ching Industrial unveiled a 35 mm mountain-bike stem supporting fully concealed cable routing. Developed for compatibility with headset systems from suppliers including Token and Acros, the design routes hoses and cables through the headset and into the frame.
A conventional version without internal routing is also available.
JAK Develops Pressure-Compensating Hydraulic Brakes
JAK presented a hydraulic brake system featuring a pressure-compensating seal and fully sealed oil chamber.
The design prevents air from entering the hydraulic circuit as internal pressure changes, helping maintain a consistent lever feel even when the bicycle is stored upside down. It also reduces the need for frequent bleeding and maintenance.
