British bicycle brand Whyte Bikes is re-entering the German and Austrian markets with a dedicated Germany-based team covering sales, marketing and warranty support.

Sebastian Tegtmeier has joined Whyte as German Sales & Marketing Manager. Dealer outreach is scheduled to begin in late September 2026, with initial product inventory scheduled to arrive in March 2027.

The market relaunch will focus on Whyte’s full-power eMTB platforms, the Karve and Karve EVO, both powered by Avinox drive systems. The Karve features 160mm of travel and is positioned for trail and enduro riding, while the Karve EVO features 180mm of travel and is positioned for gravity riding, bike parks and big-mountain terrain.

Nikki Hawyes, CEO of Whyte Bikes, said Germany and Austria are important markets for the brand, with a focus on building long-term partnerships with independent bicycle retailers.

Whyte provides a lifetime warranty on every frame and pivot bearing across the range. The Germany-based team will provide local support for dealers covering sales, marketing and warranty services.

The return to Germany and Austria follows Whyte's recent re-entry into the US market.
