Specialized’s $20K Custom TT Extensions

Following Remco Evenepoel’s record-breaking fourth consecutive World Time Trial title, Specialized has officially made its ultra-premium S-Works Custom TT Extensions available to the public for $20,000 USD.

Rather than an off-the-shelf product, the program offers a complete F1-level custom aerodynamic service:

3D Rider Scanning & Ergonomics: Full 3D digital capture of the rider's forearms, wrist angles, and upper-body posture to map an individualized interface.

Win Tunnel Validation: Dedicated testing sessions with specialized aerodynamicists at the Morgan Hill "Win Tunnel" to optimize frontal surface area (CdA) without sacrificing sustainable power output.

1-of-1 3D-Printed Fabrication: Custom aerospace-grade 3D-printed titanium and carbon construction, engineered with fully integrated internal brake and electronic wire routing specifically for the S-Works Shiv TT platform.

Industry observers note the launch underscores a broader trend among tier-one cycling brands expanding beyond mass-production components into high-margin, bespoke race engineering for elite athletes and discerning collectors.
