Muc-Off Expands UK Production and Global Warehouse Capacity

UK bicycle care brand Muc-Off has expanded its global operations by strengthening its UK production capabilities, expanding warehouse capacity in the UK and United States, and adding jobs across its production, logistics and fulfilment teams.

At its new UK production site, The Hangar, Muc-Off has installed modern production equipment and increased capacity for its range of bicycle and powersports cleaners, lubricants and protectants. The facility is currently producing 70,000 bottles per week and supports multi-channel fulfilment for global distribution partners, key accounts, independent bicycle dealers (IBDs) and e-commerce channels.

The Hangar also includes a 75,000-square-foot warehouse, replacing Muc-Off’s previous 52,000-square-foot facility and increasing storage, processing and fulfilment capacity in the UK. The facility includes energy-efficient features such as solar power and LED lighting throughout.

In the United States, Muc-Off has opened a new purpose-built warehouse in South Carolina to support its rapidly growing North American operations. The new facility is significantly larger than the previous operation and is designed to improve efficiency, responsiveness and service for retail and distribution partners across North America.

Muc-Off also said its operational teams across the UK and US have increased by 20%, with new roles added across production, logistics and fulfilment. Both facilities are now operational and fully integrated into Muc-Off’s global supply network.

Alex Trimnell, Owner, CEO and founding family member at Muc-Off, said The Hangar provides the company with modern production capability, capacity and headroom, while the investment in South Carolina is helping create a stronger and more connected global operation.
