Dutch bicycle parts and accessories brand BBB Cycling introduced three new performance glove models: AquaDex, StormDex and ThermoDex. Designed for different wet and cold-weather riding conditions, the range focuses on weather protection, insulation and finger mobility while aiming to maintain handlebar feel and control.
AquaDex: 2 mm Neoprene Construction
The AquaDex features a 2 mm neoprene construction designed to retain body heat while reducing bulk. Its AXX Suede palm is intended to provide grip in wet conditions while preserving direct handlebar feel and control during braking and shifting.
StormDex: Weather Protection and Breathability
Designed for high-intensity riding in cold, persistently wet conditions, the StormDex uses hydrophobic, breathable Italian fabric across the glove body, including the side panels and areas between the fingers.
It features an Escape® membrane with a stated waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and a breathability rating of 30,000. The glove also incorporates ergonomic latex padding and a high-grip entry cuff designed to make it easier to put on with cold or wet hands.
ThermoDex: Dual-Layer PrimaLoft® Insulation
The ThermoDex is designed for long rides in very cold and wet conditions. It combines waterproof Italian fabric with a dual-layer PrimaLoft® insulation system and an additional waterproof membrane.
To help maintain finger mobility despite its multi-layer construction, the glove features a specialised palm-wrap design, ergonomic latex padding and an integrated puller to facilitate fitting.
The three models offer different combinations of insulation and weather protection for winter cycling, allowing riders to choose according to their riding conditions and protection needs.
