We last caught up with ITM at Taipei Cycle 2023 and managed to get a quick minute with ITM General Manager Luigi Seghezzi this time around at TBW 2025.
Asked about their pricing strategy, he said, “We focus on high-end products because of the war on price.” They don’t seem too concerned, as their customers know and trust what they’re getting with an ITM product.
Back in 2023, he was revealing the then-new ITM50 handlebar with improved routing. With their new models, the ITM 50 CR (carbon road) and the ITM NYX for road and gravel, Mr. Seghezzi said, “The new extension makes it even easier for the assembler for threading cables; the curve can sometimes be (as sharp as) 90° (in other handlebars), but here, the cables can be fed much easier.”
He showed how they had improved their prototype from 2023 and made a computer mount and light attachment for the ITM 50 CR, which also lent inspiration and technology to the NYX’s design and process.

NYX HANDLEBARS
The new NYX Carbon Road and Gravel Integrated handlebar has also taken much feedback on board and made overall progress in ITM’s handlebar design. The distinctive Y-shaped join between the handlebar and stem is the central feature of NYX.
ITM will announce the NYX and more information later, but for now they tell us that this new handlebar can integrate a computer into the same body, which will help eliminate many problems associated with computer holders due to vibration problems on multiple terrains.

Inspired by aerodynamics and structural engineering, this design provides a wider, more stable attachment point, increasing stiffness and durability while maintaining a lightweight profile.
ITM is aware that the main problem with integrated handlebars is the difficulty of feeding and assembling multiple cables inside, but with the NYX’s two separate long wings with easy curves that allow for cables to fit in the right positions neatly.
Crafted with precision from cutting-edge HM carbon fiber materials with a UD finish, the NYX combines strength and resilience while maintaining a low weight. Its ergonomic contours are designed to provide superior comfort and reduced drag.
Its length (center to center) is 360 mm-420 mm, with a stem length of 80 mm-120 mm; an angle of -12°, with a 7° flare; a drop of 125 mm and reach of 75 mm; and a weight of 382 g. It’s suitable for full or semi-integrated cable routing.
The NYX allows multiple accessories to be attached. A headlight and an action camera such as a GoPro can be attached to the dedicated mounting point on the underside, in addition to cycle computers such as Garmin, Polar, Wahoo, or Bryson. The NYX boasts "unmatched versatility" and "attention to detail with seamless design," resulting in an uncluttered cockpit.

By eliminating the need for additional mounts, the NYX streamlines a bike’s appearance, reduces weight, and enhances usability whether tackling challenging climbs, sprinting in time trials, or going off-road.
VOLATA 55 RIMS
Also a new showcase for 2026 is the VOLATA 55 mm with carbon spokes. “The wheels are very light, made by hand, one by one, and it’s easy to change the spokes with little effort if something happens, unlike others with wheels,” said Mr. Seghezzi.
ITM’s VOLATA is aimed at those who see speed and weight as critical factors for their performance. ITM says it “embodies the cutting edge of technological innovation in road cycling.”
The VOLATA is completely manually assembled, with the spoke tension checked one by one. The carbon spokes offer a “big advantage” in case of an accident or sudden problem. With many other wheels, you’d be forced to change the whole wheel, but with the VOLATA, single spokes can be replaced without changing the whole rim.
Even on the roughest rides, ITM says the wheel nipples, which have been treated with a unique anti-loosening compound, guarantee steady spoke tension and dependability over time.
ITM provides one additional wheel spoke and nipple for each spoke length with each wheel as a complement for this functionality with their aftermarket package.

Its aerodynamic 55 mm profile is designed to reduce drag while increasing stability at high speeds. Its internal width is 21 mm, and the external width is 28.6 mm, allowing for a perfect fit with next-generation tires.
The VOLATA is made of HM carbon with UD finishing and offers a reinforced nipple area. It’s a 700C tubeless-ready rim, currently compatible with Shimano 12SP, Sram XDR, and Campagnolo N3W freehubs, and weighs 1351 g.
The HM carbon rim is meticulously crafted with “artisanal precision,” with reinforced high-stress areas for unrivaled reliability and durability in extreme conditions, with every design element reducing excess weight.
Its high-tech aerodynamic carbon spokes “slice through the air” with precision and provide “unmatched stiffness and power transfer.” ITM expects these sleek, high-performance spokes to be the future of aerodynamic cycling.
