Factor Bikes has unveiled two special-edition ONE XXRAY PLUS road bikes inspired by Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants, which will be raced at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

The two models—the ONE XXRAY PLUS SpongeBob SquarePants Edition and ONE XXRAY PLUS Patrick Star Edition—feature graphics based on SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star. The bikes will be raced by riders from Human Powered Health and Ma Petite Entreprise during the women’s WorldTour stage race.

The project combines Factor’s ONE aero racing platform with the character-driven design approach of its XXRAY series. According to Factor, the special editions demonstrate how high-performance race bikes can combine advanced engineering with distinctive visual design and personality.

Underneath the custom graphics, both bikes retain the Factor ONE platform, which the brand describes as its most advanced aero racing bike for the professional peloton. Factor says the special editions maintain the control, aerodynamic efficiency and handling expected from its flagship platform.

David Millar, Chief Brand Officer at Factor, said the project was designed to bring more personality and enjoyment to elite-level racing while maintaining performance.

The collaboration also forms part of Factor’s effort to attract new audiences to women’s cycling. The brand said the vibrant designs were created to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift and encourage greater interest in women’s cycling.

The Factor ONE XXRAY PLUS SpongeBob SquarePants Edition and ONE XXRAY PLUS Patrick Star Edition will be available in very limited numbers through factorbikes.com and official Factor dealers.
