German bicycle brand Stevens is reorganizing its distribution operations in France, appointing Cicleon as its new distributor for the French market from August 1, 2026.
The move ends nearly two decades of cooperation between Stevens Vertriebs GmbH and RST Paul Lange France. The change follows a strategic realignment by the Paul Lange Group, which is ending its distribution of complete bicycles and e-bikes in France.
Stevens said the dealer network developed during its cooperation with Paul Lange will remain in place. The company also thanked Isabelle Ballmer, who played a key role in developing the Stevens business in France and managing the market’s linguistic, cultural and technical requirements.
Cicleon has represented Stevens in Spain and will now take responsibility for France as well. The company has established a dedicated sales team for the French market and is setting up logistics infrastructure, including a warehouse close to the French border, to support local dealers.
Cicleon’s sales and field-service teams will cover the entire French market and manage existing orders and bicycle allocations during the transition.
Germán Suárez, Marketing Manager at Cicleon, said the company has extensive experience distributing premium bicycle brands in Southern Europe and aims to provide efficient logistics, strong dealer support and further strengthen Stevens’ presence in France.
Jacob von Hacht, Managing Director of Stevens Vertriebs GmbH, thanked the Paul Lange Group for its long-term cooperation and said Stevens was pleased to have Cicleon as its new partner, noting the distributor’s existing knowledge of the brand and focus on the specialist bicycle trade.
Stevens currently distributes bicycles and e-bikes through specialist bicycle retailers in nearly 20 European countries.
