Hiplok has appointed German distributor Sports Nut as its new distribution partner for Germany and Austria, as the bicycle and motorcycle security brand looks to expand its presence in the region.

Based in Tübingen, Germany, Sports Nut GmbH has been part of the hostettler group since 2014. The company specializes in distributing international bicycle brands to dealers across Europe and has a portfolio of premium cycling products.

Stuart Bailey, Head of Sales at Hiplok, said Sports Nut has a strong industry reputation, an experienced team and a proven track record in representing premium brands.

Daniela Thinius, Managing Director of Sports Nut, said Hiplok’s focus on innovative security products makes the brand a natural fit for its portfolio. Sports Nut plans to work closely with independent bicycle dealers in Germany and Austria to increase awareness of Hiplok’s product range and support its growth in the markets.

The new partnership will strengthen Hiplok’s distribution network in two key European cycling markets and support the brand’s continued expansion in the region.
