Urban Arrow has expanded its electric cargo bike range with the launch of the Breeze, the company's first longtail e-bike. The new model brings Urban Arrow's experience in family cargo bikes to a more compact format designed for everyday suburban use.

For the past 14 years, Urban Arrow has focused primarily on front-loading cargo bikes, known for their large front boxes and ability to transport children and gear. The Breeze takes a different approach, combining cargo-carrying capability with handling intended to feel closer to that of a standard bicycle.
"Longtail cargo bikes represent the majority of the e-cargo market in North America. With the Breeze, we're bringing our experience in family cargo bikes into this segment, offering a premium alternative for riders who value safety, durability, and long-term reliability," said Mark Danhof, General Manager of Urban Arrow North America.
Designed for Stability and Everyday Use
The Breeze features 24-inch wheels and is equipped with a Bosch Cargo Line motor, an Enviolo hub and a Gates Carbon belt drive. According to Urban Arrow, the combination is designed to provide a stable and familiar riding experience, including when carrying passengers.
The bike uses a very low step-through frame to make mounting and dismounting easier. An integrated MIK HD system is fitted at both the front and rear, allowing accessories to be changed quickly for different passenger and cargo configurations.
The extended rear rack can support up to 176 pounds (80 kg), while the Breeze has a total payload capacity of 440 pounds (200 kg). The company says the bike can carry two children, groceries or other gear.
Key features include a stable kickstand for loading and unloading, spoke and belt guards for added protection, a high-capacity rear rack, integrated front lock and secure storage for a chain lock, and a fixed Purion 200 display for control and operation.
Passenger Accessories Included in Launch Promotion
For a limited time, Urban Arrow is offering the Breeze with a package of passenger accessories, including a protection bar, footrests, a front rack and two seat cushions. The company states that the package represents more than $700 in added value.
Availability and Pricing
The Urban Arrow Breeze is now available at selected retailers in the United States and Canada, in green, with a retail price of $6,999. The launch package includes the passenger accessories specified by Urban Arrow.
