A new Best Innovation special award will also be presented, with the winner selected by the expert jury from all submitted products. According to CYCLINGWORLD, the award recognizes products that introduce a clearly new or significantly improved approach compared with existing solutions and provide relevant added value. The innovation may come from an individual idea or feature, or from a combination of technologies, functions and design approaches.

The awards will also include the Best Product of the Year and Sustainability special awards. Best Product of the Year will recognize the outstanding product among all entries, with only one Gold Award presented in this category. No separate application is required for the special awards, as winners will be selected from the submitted products.

The 2027 program will also introduce public Community Voting. Eligible entries will automatically be included in the voting, while the expert jury will conduct its evaluation independently. The three products receiving the most votes across all categories will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Community Voting awards. In addition, the product receiving the most votes in each category will receive the “Most Voted” title and a certificate.

The submission deadline is January 10, 2027. Community Voting will run from January 24 to March 1, followed by the expert jury meeting on March 11. The awards ceremony will take place on March 12 at RHEINRIFF in Düsseldorf as part of CYCLINGWORLD EUROPE 2027.
