Giant Group Releases 2025 ESG Report

Giant Group has released its 2025 ESG Report, outlining the Group's progress in environmental, social and governance initiatives.

In 2025, Giant Group's greenhouse gas inventory covered nine manufacturing sites and 15 sales companies worldwide, representing 100% of the Group's revenue.

According to the report, Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions at the Group's Taiwan and China sites fell by an absolute 40.03% from the base year, marking the Group's largest reduction to date. Renewable electricity accounted for 19.6% of total electricity consumption in 2025, exceeding the Group's 2030 target of 18.5% ahead of schedule.

In terms of resource circularity, Giant Group used 2,240 metric tons of recycled aluminum alloy in 2025. A total of 47 tire products incorporated recycled ocean-bound materials, while more than 1.37 million bicycle saddles incorporating recycled materials were produced.

The Group also reported an increase in hazardous-waste recycling. The recycling rate rose from 84% in 2022 to 98% in 2025.

As part of its circular economy initiatives, Giant Taiwan sold 1,666 certified pre-owned bicycles in 2025, generating NT$20.34 million in revenue.

In workforce development, women accounted for 38.68% of STEM roles, while the internal-fill rate for open positions reached 76.8%.

Through YouBike's Carbon Savings Passbook, cumulative avoided emissions reached 37,985 tonnes of CO₂e by the end of 2025.

Giant Group also became a TNFD Adopter and established its first Group-wide biodiversity risk baseline.

The 2025 ESG Report outlines Giant Group's progress in climate action, resource circularity, workforce development, and biodiversity and nature-related initiatives.

Looking ahead, Giant Group will continue integrating ESG practices more deeply across its operations and value chain. Guided by measurable and verifiable outcomes, the Group aims to accelerate the bicycle industry's transformation and create lasting positive impact for the planet.
