Key Technical Innovations

According to technical analysis by Escape Collective, the 300-gram weight reduction is distributed evenly across three main areas:

Adaptive Layup Carbon Rims (−100g): Features a 25mm profile and a modern 30mm internal width (36mm external) hookless design optimized for 2.3″–2.4 tires.

The raw T700/T1000/3K composite construction requires no post-mold machining, saving 50g per rim while enhancing compliance.

Carbon Spokes & Titanium Nipples (−100g): Uses 20 straight-pull carbon spokes per wheel in a 2-cross pattern, secured by titanium nipples to significantly reduce rotational inertia.

UltraLight Ceramic Hubs (−100g): Weighing just 105g (front) and 180g (rear), the hubs feature Mavic ceramic bearings and a fast-engaging 40-tooth ID360 Light ratchet system.
