Eurobike 2027 Returns to Late June with Stronger Global B2B Focus

Eurobike has confirmed that its 35th edition will take place from June 30 to July 2, 2027, at Messe Frankfurt, reversing its previously announced September schedule. The show will remain an annual event and adopt a compact, three-day, trade-only format covering the complete bicycle and ecomobility value chain.

The updated concept was presented during an online briefing by Philipp Ferger, Managing Director of Fairnamic GmbH, and Matthias Pietsch, Show Director of Eurobike. It follows extensive discussions with exhibitors, trade visitors, international partners and members of the Eurobike advisory board during and after the 2026 show.

According to the organizers, the industry feedback strongly supported a clear B2B focus, a three-day format and the continuation of Eurobike on an annual basis. The market also expressed a preference for an earlier date in the international trade-show calendar.

By moving back to late June, Eurobike aims to avoid direct competition with the increasingly crowded European event calendar in September. The earlier date is also intended to provide manufacturers, brands, suppliers, buyers and international media with a more established and predictable time frame for product launches, sourcing discussions and future business planning.

International reach remains a core advantage

Fairnamic emphasized that Eurobike’s international character, global business network and extensive media reach remain its most important competitive advantages. Eurobike 2026 attracted around 800 exhibitors from 44 countries. Approximately half of all trade visitors came from outside Germany, while figures presented during the online briefing indicated that international visitors represented about 60% of the professional audience. In addition, 71% of trade visitors were executives or corporate decision-makers.

More than 600 media professionals registered for the 2026 event, including 209 international representatives from 33 countries. Media monitoring cited by the organizer recorded a cumulative reach of 13.5 billion, while coverage generated during Eurobike week alone reached approximately 440 million. Ferger said the revised schedule and annual cycle would create a stable and predictable platform while reinforcing Eurobike’s position as an international meeting point for the bicycle and ecomobility sectors. The objective, he explained, is to bring together key players from global markets to generate business, accelerate innovation and support direct industry exchange.

Eurobike’s international approach is backed by a network of sales and market partners in more than 150 countries. The show intends to remain open to manufacturers, suppliers and technology innovators from all major production regions, with particular attention given to drive systems, components, manufacturing technologies and other emerging solutions.

Three halls organized around key industry sectors

Eurobike 2027 will relocate to the eastern section of Messe Frankfurt, occupying Halls 3, 4 and 5 around the Agora outdoor area. The new layout will divide the exhibition into three main business segments:

Hall 3 – Smart Mobility and Retail: Cargo bikes, micro-vehicles, urban mobility, connected systems, IoT, drive systems, batteries, circular economy and retail services.

Hall 4 – Production and Sourcing: Global and European OEM suppliers, component manufacturers, materials, production technologies and mechanical engineering.

Hall 5 – Sports and Performance: Premium road, gravel and mountain bikes, e-performance products, apparel and accessories.

The centrally located Agora will serve as the “Connect & Explore” area, providing space for test tracks, demonstrations and outdoor brand presentations. The adjacent Forum and Festhalle will accommodate networking activities and partner events.

The dedicated Production and Sourcing hall is expected to be particularly relevant to Taiwanese and Asian manufacturers seeking direct contact with international brands and product managers.

New meeting formats for focused business

A central element of the new concept is “Your Business BASE,” a bookable meeting-room format designed for confidential negotiations, customer meetings and targeted business development. The fully equipped rooms offer companies an alternative to operating a large conventional booth while maintaining an official and visible presence at the show. Eurobike will also introduce an enhanced Business Club for senior executives, major customers and international decision-makers.

Other participation options will include traditional stand space, turnkey premium packages and expanded media programs. According to Eurobike, exhibition prices for 2027 will be approximately 20% lower than in 2026, while media-package prices will be reduced by around 50%.

Pietsch said the new date represents the right position for Eurobike within the international industry calendar. The three focused B2B days will be structured around product launches, decision-making and new business development, supported by matchmaking services, bookable meeting facilities and networking programs.

Ecomobility will remain an important growth area within the show, encompassing urban mobility, logistics, connected systems and emerging transportation solutions.

With the revised concept, Eurobike is seeking to distinguish itself from regional events and competing September shows by concentrating on its strongest assets: international participation, global media visibility, product innovation and cross-border business connections.

The 35th Eurobike will take place from June 30 to July 2, 2027, at Messe Frankfurt.
