WHEELTOP EDS Wireless Electronic Drivetrain System

WHEELTOP Introduces EDS Wireless Electronic Drivetrain and Smart Cycling Glasses

WHEELTOP has introduced its EDS wireless electronic drivetrain system paired with the ROTOR ALDHU carbon crankset and chainrings, offering a complete electronic drivetrain solution for road bikes.

The system includes electronic shifters and front and rear electronic derailleurs. Its wireless architecture reduces cable routing and simplifies installation, while providing fast and stable shifting operation.

The drivetrain is paired with the ROTOR ALDHU crankset and chainrings, combining low weight and high stiffness with efficient power transfer. According to WHEELTOP, the system is designed to balance performance and cost competitiveness for advanced riding, training and racing applications, while providing bicycle brands with greater flexibility in electronic drivetrain configurations.

WHEELTOP has also expanded into smart cycling glasses, combining smart interaction features with cycling safety functions.

The smart cycling glasses are designed for cycling safety and feature high-definition lenses with more than 99% ultraviolet blocking and strong impact resistance.

The glasses support AI voice functions when used with the WHEELTOP cycling app. Voice controls include answering phone calls, music playback, translation and volume adjustment.

The frame is made from lightweight TR90 nylon, while the temples use TPE soft rubber for comfort and a secure fit. The glasses feature IP65 water and dust resistance, as well as resistance to vibration and drops.

Other features include magnetic contact fast charging and dual lithium batteries for extended battery life. The Bluetooth audio system is designed to provide clear and stable audio with wind-noise reduction. The glasses use directional acoustic transmission with an open-ear listening design, allowing riders to listen to music while maintaining awareness of surrounding road conditions.

The complete glasses weigh 52 grams, according to WHEELTOP.

WHEELTOP will showcase its products during the 2026 Taichung Bike Week at Room 1138 of The Splendor Hotel Taichung.
