JIEKE is expanding its hydraulic braking portfolio with an integrated disc brake system combining brake levers, quick-connect hoses, CBS linked braking, hydraulic calipers and rotors. The platform also incorporates JAK quick-connect and pressure-compensation technologies to improve braking consistency, assembly efficiency and serviceability.
The integrated hydraulic brake system is designed to deliver responsive and stable braking performance, while concealed hose routing helps create a cleaner overall bike appearance. For OEMs, the quick-connect architecture can also simplify production and maintenance, making it particularly relevant for E-Bike and urban mobility platforms.
A key feature is the patented JAK quick-connect system, designed to connect or disconnect hydraulic brake hoses in about one second. The HQ-1A and HQ-3 connectors address the complexity and time required by conventional hydraulic hose installation. The intuitive process — align, insert, lock and release — helps reduce assembly steps while maintaining a secure and leak-resistant connection.
JAK also introduces an innovative pressure-compensation sealed brake system. By combining a fully sealed fluid chamber, a patented sealed breathing passage and a pressure-compensation structure, the design helps reduce air ingress and maintain stable internal pressure over extended use.
This can help minimize changes in lever feel caused by air entering the hydraulic circuit, including during long rides, transportation or when the bicycle is stored upside down. Reduced air ingress can also lower the frequency of bleeding and other brake maintenance.
By integrating quick-connect fittings, sealed hydraulic architecture and complete brake-system solutions, JIEKE aims to provide bicycle brands and OEM customers with a more efficient, reliable and service-friendly braking platform.
