Avinox has launched the DP200, a handlebar-mounted control display that integrates riding information, assistance adjustment and electronic shifting into a single interface.

The DP200 features a 1.4-inch full-color LCD touchscreen with five physical buttons—two for assistance modes, two for gear shifting and one for power. It offers brightness of up to 800 nits, an anti-glare and scratch-resistant surface, and an IP56 protection rating.

The unit supports automatic shifting, stationary downshifts and start-assist functions when paired with specified TRP external derailleurs or Lofandi internal-gear hubs. Apple Find My integration allows riders to locate their bikes, while an Apple Watch can unlock the system and serve as a secondary ride display.

Pricing, availability and initial production-bike partners have not been announced. The launch nevertheless shows Avinox evolving beyond drive units into a broader digital ecosystem encompassing controls, shifting, connectivity and theft protection. For bike manufacturers, adopting the system will require coordinated planning for cockpit layout, wiring, drivetrain compatibility, firmware management and after-sales diagnostics.
